New Vision Co-op is proud to announce a new partnership with the Central Advantage GS Precision Ag Platform. In the past, relying on your equipment and experience was enough. With the ever-changing landscape of agriculture today, the growing need for understanding new technologies, datasets, and how to use them is crucial.  This partnership will allow us to offer an established and proven platform to help our members improve overall crop health, create efficiencies, increase yields, and preserve the land for generations to come.

Dennis Weber, Agronomy Manager at New Vision Co-op, said, “We are excited to offer this platform to our New Vision members and owners while enhancing our precision ag offerings to our growers.”  Denny has been in the New Vision Agronomy Department for over 45 years and has seen a lot of changes in farming operations in recent decades but sees this as an exciting new opportunity to offer another improvement in precision technology and data collection.

This partnership will allow New Vision Co-op Sales Agronomists and Precision Ag Specialists to provide additional data to growers. This program includes grid sampling, variable rate planting, and seed recommendations while taking into consideration multiple year history field data helping producers make financial and agronomic decisions that are best for their specific operations. New Vision team members will work very closely with customers to gather data to gain an understanding of the soil in each field to ensure it is reaching its fullest potential. The additional data allows us to provide the information our producers can use to achieve their goals.

Matt Ashton, New Vision Co-op CEO said, “We are very excited to partner with Central Advantage GS to offer this opportunity to our member-owners. Central Advantage GS has a long history of innovative and leading-edge Precision Ag tools, resources, and technologies. With this partnership, our customers will have access to these tools and resources for their Precision Ag platform to be able to make more informed decisions for their crops.”

“Central Advantage GS is a service that aligns magnificently with the true cooperative model: pooling resources to empower wiser investment for each farm to drive both individual profit and build a critical mass of data for decision-making. The partnership between New Vision and Central Advantage GS is one that will make both entities’ customers stronger, all while gaining leverage for a locally owned and locally operated platform in an industry that continues to want to trend towards National control. The core strategies of New Vision’s service model align perfectly with that of Central Advantage, so this partnership is going to feel very natural from Day 1.” states KC Graner, CFS SVP of Agronomy.

“New Vision believes this partnership will provide access to valuable information to support the long-term health and well-being of their ground and bring our customers the most profitable options for their operation. We continue to focus on providing solutions to our growers to maximize their profit per acre,” said Matt Ashton, New Vision Co-op CEO.
